Josh Boardman is an associate attorney at Combs Waterkotte, where he prioritizes providing a thorough defense for clients facing criminal charges across both Missouri and Illinois, whether those are at the felony, misdemeanor, or even municipal level. Josh is at home in the courtroom having represented clients throughout Missouri and Illinois at all stages of a case, whether that be arguing dispositive motions, negotiating with prosecutors, conducting depositions, participating in trial, or navigating the case through the appeals process.
Prior to joining Combs Waterkotte, Josh served as an attorney at a leading law firm in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois, where he immediately gained experience with cases ranging from criminal defense and orders of protection to family law and civil litigation. His previous cases provided him countless opportunities to examine the evidence, counsel clients on the most impactful defense or litigation strategy, and pursue that strategy on their behalf.
Having lived in Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri, and the St. Louis area, Josh believes that everyone, regardless of background or geographic location, deserves quality service and a robust defense during what is one of the most difficult seasons in his clients’ lives.
When Josh is not representing clients at Combs Waterkotte, he is an avid golfer, hunter, and fan of all things St. Louis sports. Josh’s wife, Molly, is a lifelong St. Louisan and they have two young boys, Tommy and Jack.
