Lydia was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and she grew up in the greater St. Louis area. She earned her bachelor’s degree in sociology and psychology, with an emphasis in criminal justice, from Maryville University. Lydia is currently pursuing her juris doctor at Saint Louis University School of Law, and she is expected to graduate in May of 2027.
Following her graduation from law school, Lydia plans to pursue a career as a criminal defense attorney. During the summer following her first year of law school, she interned with the Missouri State Public Defender at their St. Louis County Trial Division office. She also worked as a legal assistant at an estate planning firm while she was in college.
Outside of work and school, Lydia enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as with her cat, Betty. She also enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and doing crafts.
She truly passionate about criminal justice, and she is firm in her belief that all individuals accused of crimes have a constitutional right to adequate legal representation.
