Elizabeth Dahle is an Associate Attorney at Combs Waterkotte, representing clients throughout Missouri who are facing charges ranging from misdemeanors to violent crimes and sex crimes. She understands the enormous personal and professional consequences that accompany a criminal accusation and provides experienced, compassionate, and aggressive advocacy at every stage of the case.
Before joining Combs Waterkotte, Elizabeth served as an Assistant Public Defender with the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office, representing clients throughout Lincoln and Pike counties. As an experienced trial lawyer, she handled serious felony cases from the initial client meeting through investigation, depositions, motion practice, plea negotiations, and jury trials. Her work required her to carefully analyze complex evidence, identify weaknesses in the prosecution’s case, and develop effective defense strategies for clients facing life-changing consequences.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Oberlin College and the University of Notre Dame Law School and brings more than 20 years of legal experience to the firm. Before joining the Public Defender’s Office, she operated her own law practice for eight years, representing clients in criminal, family, and civil matters. This broad legal background gives her a valuable perspective on the many ways a criminal case can affect a client’s family, career, reputation, and future.
Known for her meticulous preparation, extensive courtroom experience, and unwavering commitment to her clients, Elizabeth believes every person deserves to be heard, treated with dignity, and defended with determination. She brings sound judgment, a strong work ethic, and a deeply personal approach to every case she handles.
