A hardworking immigrant was charged with two counts of child endangerment. The man had left his two young children alone in a car in a busy parking lot to purchase a last-minute gift for his wife’s birthday. The defendant, in this case, was looking at deportation if he pled guilty to the charges. After lengthy negotiations with the prosecuting attorney, Combs Waterkotte got the charges completely dismissed.
