Scott Michael Dunn: What is the BAC limit for DUI charges in Cook County or Chicago, Illinois?
Joshua Boardman: Cook County, along with the rest of Illinois, the BAC for personal driving, non-commercial driving, is .08. If you have a commercial driver’s license or a CDL, or if you’re under the age of 21, there are different BAC parameters. For example, with a CDL holder, the BAC that if you are over it and you would be in violation is .04 instead of .08. So they hold certain classifications of drivers more accountable from a BAC standpoint.
