Interview Transcript

Scott Michael Dunn: What if the accusation is connected to child custody? What do you do then?

Joshua Boardman: It becomes a piece of the puzzle. You evaluate the motive behind the reporting of it and the motive may be good or the motive may be pure, innocent, or however there may be absolutely no problems. But that is part of our intake and our screening and the evaluation of details is setting out a chronology of everything and a timeline. And so if there were no allegations before someone filed for a modification of custody or for primary custody but suddenly now one of the parents is alleged to have engaged in all this conduct then that is a very ripe field for us to cross-examine and try to at least get an idea of how credible that report is if it’s solely existing within this context of conflict between these individuals.
