Scott Michael Dunn: Is jail mandatory for a first DUI offender in Illinois?
Joshua Boardman: It is not mandatory on that first time. It becomes mandatory on your second and at that point it’s five days or a requisite amount of time doing community service. You can argue one or the other, but on a first-time DUI, it’s not mandatory.
