Scott Michael Dunn: Can social media messages be used in court?
Christopher Combs: Yes, of course. Social media is highly involved in a lot of these cases. I think we see social media as evidence as much as we see anything else these days. Would you agree?
Joshua Boardman: Yes, especially with the proliferation of apps and platforms like Snapchat that allow for messages and pictures and videos and they disappear or they’re not, they’re not saved. So, like Chris said, more often than not the timeline or the context of the interactions between individuals, is going to involve text messages, social media. Because frankly, we get way more calls around interactions or allegations where individuals knew one another and there was an existing relationship of some kind than sort of the man loose on the street type of horror stories that you hear. So, because we’re getting so many calls where the context is absolutely at the forefront, social media is driving that text message, things like that.
