Scott Michael Dunn: Can I travel internationally after a DUI conviction in Illinois?
Joshua Boardman: It can create difficulty. We’ve had clients have a hard time traveling to different countries with a conviction on their record for a DUI or have to offer supplemental explanations or additional documentation. It’s not comical, but you do hear of music artists and things like that traveling to Canada or Mexico or different places and getting held up at the border because of DUIs during their touring years.
