Interview Transcript

Scott Michael Dunn: What evidence should I save if I’m accused?

Christopher Combs: Everything you can possibly save.

Joshua Boardman: Yes, I agree. I would start logging all the conversations that you’ve had. If it involves potential third-party witnesses, identifying who those individuals might be, summarizing any sort of contextual history, like relationship history, anything like that. Securing any alibi information, depending on the charge and depending on your affirmative defense as detail intensive as you could be is probably best because then it allows us to have a stronger leaping off point whenever we go and have those conversations with detectives or state’s attorney, depending on where we’re at in the case.
