579.076. Unlawful manufacture of drug paraphernalia — penalties.

Making drug tools to help others use illegal drugs is against the law.

This law makes it illegal to make items meant to help people grow, make, or use illegal drugs. If you do it to sell or for business, the penalty is more serious.

1. A person breaks the law if they make drug paraphernalia with the intent to give or sell it to someone else, knowing (or reasonably should know) it will be used to grow, make, store, or use illegal drugs or fake drugs.

2. This offense is a class A misdemeanor, unless it’s done for business or commercial purposes — then it’s a class E felony.
