Making fake drugs to sell is a crime
This Missouri law makes it illegal to manufacture a fake drug—known as an “imitation controlled substance”—with plans to sell or distribute it.
1. You commit this offense if you:
- Knowingly make a fake drug (an imitation controlled substance); and
- Intend to deliver or distribute it to others.
2. Penalty:
- This is classified as a Class E felony.
