566.095. Sexual misconduct, second degree, penalty.
It’s illegal to ask someone for sex if it’s likely to offend or upset them.
This law makes it a crime to ask someone to do something sexual if you know it will probably make them uncomfortable or alarmed.
1. A person commits second-degree sexual misconduct if they ask or suggest to someone that they engage in sexual conduct, knowing the request is likely to offend or disturb that person.
2. This sex offense is a class C misdemeanor.
