Scott Michael Dunn: What are the fines and court costs for a DUI conviction in Illinois?
Joshua Boardman: Those can vary. There are financial penalties under the statute up to $2,500 for a first-time DUI. But then, oftentimes, courts will have their own court costs and fees and administrative fees and costs that would get attached at sentencing. And the court provides you with a sentencing judgement or a sentencing order that is inclusive of those fees and fines.
