Scott Michael Dunn: How Much Jail Time Can I Face for a DUI in Illinois?

Joshua Boardman: So, on a first-time DUI, it’s going to be charged as a Class A misdemeanor. And under the sentencing laws in the state of Illinois, which would obviously impact Cook County, a defendant can be sentenced up to 364 days in county jail. Because it’s a misdemeanor, it’s not going to prison eligible.
