Scott Michael Dunn: Can I get court supervision for sex crimes in Illinois?
Joshua Boardman: It is not likely for any of the significant, and when I say significant I mean Class 1, Class X, aggravated. Many of those are not even probation eligible. Whenever you get into Class 2, which can be sexual abuse, which is unwanted conduct or unwanted touching, if you get into traveling to meet a minor, revenge porn, grooming, those are still probation eligible. But you’re not looking at opportunities to get court supervision on those cases.
