Scott Michael Dunn: If it’s a CDL DUI, would they qualify for a monitoring device driving permit or an MDDP?
Joshua Boardman: So, if you’re trying to maintain your CDL license and operate a commercial vehicle, the answer is going to be no because you’re subject to that one-year suspension. So, it’s not as though they say, “Okay, you’re suspended for a year, but you can still participate in a program or install an ignition interlock device and operate a commercial vehicle.” The answer is no. Now, would you could potentially do with your non-commercial driving privileges, there may be eligibility, but certainly not for operating under a CDL.
