720 ILCS 5/17-62 – Unlawful Possession of Device for Manufacturing a False Universal Price Code Label

This law makes it illegal to have a tool meant to make fake or altered price tags.

Sec. 17-62. A person breaks the law if they knowingly have a device that is made to create false, fake, or changed universal price code labels.
