This law makes it illegal to pretend to be an emergency worker, and says that it’s extra bad to do so while committing a crime.

This Illinois law says that it’s illegal to pretend to be an emergency worker, like a paramedic or Red Cross worker. It also says specifically that if you do so while trying to commit another felony, you can be punished extra harshly.
