720 ILCS 5/17-2(b)(11) – False Personation of an Emergency Management or Red Cross Worker

This law makes it illegal to pretend to be an emergency worker.

This Illinois law says that it’s illegal to pretend to be an emergency worker, like a paramedic or Red Cross worker. It also sets the penalty for violating this law.

(b)(11) Someone breaks this law when they pretend to be an emergency worker.

(f) Sentence: Violating subsection (b)(11) is a Class 4 felony.
