Scott Michael Dunn: What is aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Illinois?
Joshua Boardman: Aggravated criminal sexual abuse is where you have the underlying allegations of sexual contact without consent or unwanted. But then you’ve got other circumstances or aggravating factors that could be the use of a weapon. It could include bodily injury of the victim occurring as a result of whatever they’re alleging. It can be a special victim. That includes folks that may have a disability or something like that. It can also include special victims based on age, you know, over the age of 60.
