567.070. Promoting prostitution in the third degree — penalty.

This law makes it illegal to help or support prostitution in any way.

If someone helps others engage in prostitution or makes money from it, they can be charged with a felony.

1. A person breaks this law if they knowingly:

  1. Cause or help someone to engage in prostitution;
  2. Find customers for prostitution;
  3. Provide people or places for prostitution;
  4. Run or help run a prostitution house or business;
  5. Get money or agree to get money from prostitution activity; or
  6. Do anything to start, support, or make prostitution happen.

2. This is a class E felony offense.
