567.060. Promoting prostitution in the second degree — penalty.
This law punishes people who run prostitution businesses or exploit teens aged 16 or 17.
If someone manages a prostitution operation or is involved in prostitution with minors aged 16 or 17, they can face felony charges.
1. A person breaks this law if they knowingly:
- Run, manage, or control a prostitution business with two or more prostitutes; or
- Promote prostitution involving someone who is 16 or 17 years old.
2. This is a class D felony offense.
