720 ILCS 646/45 – Methamphetamine Manufacturing Waste (Unlawful Disposal)
This law makes it illegal to get rid of meth-making waste in unsafe ways.
This Illinois law says it is against the law to burn, throw away, or dump trash from making meth if you know what it is. Breaking this law is a serious crime called a Class 2 felony.
(a) It is against the law for someone to knowingly burn, throw away, or get rid of any waste that came from making methamphetamine, if they know it was used in making the drug.
(b) Sentence: Anyone who breaks this rule is guilty of a Class 2 felony, which is a serious offense that can mean prison time.
