720 ILCS 570/407.1 – Delivery of Controlled Substances by a Person Under 18

This law makes it a much bigger crime for an adult to use someone under 18 to help deliver or sell drugs.

If an adult gets a person under 18 years old to help move, sell, or give out illegal drugs or fake drugs, the adult can get up to three times the usual prison time they would get for a drug offense.

Section 407.1 Any person 18 years of age or older who breaks the law against drug dealing, delivering, or helping to move drugs and does so by using or involving someone under 18 years old can be punished with a prison sentence up to three times longer than normal for that specific drug crime.
