Adults 21 or older can’t have sex with someone under 17.
If you’re 21 or older and have sex with someone under 17, it’s a felony called second-degree statutory rape.
1. A person breaks this law if they are at least 21 years old and have sex with someone under 17.
2. This crime is a class D felony.
