565.120. Kidnapping, second degree, penalty.
It’s a crime to restrain someone and put them in danger.
This law says it’s illegal to hold someone against their will in a way that puts them at serious risk of getting hurt.
1. A person commits second-degree kidnapping if they knowingly hold someone against their will, limit their freedom, and put them at serious risk of getting hurt.
2. Kidnapping in the second degree is a class D felony.
