572.020. Gambling — penalty

Gambling can be a crime, especially for pros or with minors

If someone knowingly takes part in gambling, they can be charged with a misdemeanor—and face tougher penalties if they’re a pro or gamble with someone under 17.

1. A person commits the offense of gambling if he or she knowingly engages in gambling.

2. Gambling is a class C misdemeanor, unless:
