720 ILCS 5/32-3 – Subornation of Perjury

This law says it is a crime to get someone else to lie under oath on purpose.

(a) A person commits subornation of perjury when they knowingly cause or persuade someone else to make a false statement under oath, knowing that the statement is not true.

(b) Sentence: Subornation of perjury is punished as a Class 4 felony.
