John Williams is an associate attorney at Combs Waterkotte and a dedicated criminal defense lawyer committed to protecting the rights and futures of his clients.
John earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama before attending Saint Louis University School of Law, where he developed a passion for criminal law and trial advocacy.
John began his legal career with the Missouri State Public Defender’s Office, where he gained extensive courtroom experience representing clients charged with offenses ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies. He has served as lead counsel in multiple jury trials, assisted as co-counsel in numerous others, and successfully defended clients at every stage of the criminal justice process.
Known for his diligence and thorough preparation, John approaches every case with a strategic mindset and unwavering commitment to his clients. He understands how stressful and overwhelming criminal charges can be, and he takes pride in guiding clients through the legal system with clarity, confidence, and compassion.

Outside of the office, John enjoys reading, golfing, and exploring new places with his fiancée. A lifelong St. Louis Cardinals fan, he also loves catching games in St. Louis.
