570.025. Robbery in the second degree — penalty.
This law makes it a crime to hurt someone while stealing from them.
If you use force to steal something and someone gets physically hurt during the theft, it’s second-degree robbery.
1. A person commits second-degree robbery if they use force to steal something and, during the theft, cause physical injury to another person.
2. Robbery in the second degree is a class B felony.
