569.180. Possession of burglar’s tools — penalty.

Having tools for breaking into buildings is a crime

If someone has tools used for breaking into places and plans to use them for that purpose, it’s against the law.

1. A person commits possession of burglar’s tools if they have tools or items made or commonly used to break into buildings and they either plan to use them or know someone else plans to use them for illegal entry.

2. Possession of burglar’s tools is a class E felony.
