569.150. Trespass in the second degree — penalty.
Going onto someone’s land without permission
You commit second-degree trespass if you go onto someone else’s land when you’re not supposed to. It doesn’t matter what your intent was.
1. A person breaks this law by going onto someone else’s land without permission. You can be charged even if you didn’t mean to cause any harm—intent doesn’t matter.
2. Trespass in the second degree is an infraction, which is less serious than a misdemeanor.
