579.070. Creating a danger — penalty.

Using traps or weapons to protect illegal drug-making is a felony

If someone sets up weapons or traps to guard the making of illegal drugs, they can be charged with a serious crime.

1. A person breaks this law if they are making or trying to make a controlled substance and purposely use or set up any weapon or device meant to hurt someone to protect the drug-making process.

2. The offense of creating a danger is a class A felony.
