566.093. Sexual misconduct, first degree, penalties.
It’s illegal to do sexual acts in public or in ways that upset others.
This law makes it a crime to expose yourself or do sexual acts in public when you know it might bother or alarm people.
1. A person commits first-degree sexual misconduct if they:
- Expose their genitals in a way they know will upset others;
- Engage in sexual contact in front of others, knowing it will likely offend or upset them;
- Have sex or engage in deviate sex in a public place in front of others.
2. This sex offense is a class B misdemeanor. If the person has a prior conviction under this chapter or a similar law in another state, it becomes a class A misdemeanor.
